Lumetrin

The platform adapts. The foundation does not.

Every Lumetrin OS workspace runs the same Core. An industry pack adds the records, workflows and vocabulary of one kind of business on top of it, so the software describes the work the way the people doing it describe it.

What a pack adds, and what it leaves alone.

The pack is the top layer. Lift it off and the Core underneath does not move — which is what makes a second industry possible without rebuilding the first.

Rental is the pack that exists today. We list industries we have built, and no others.

More industriesBy designLumetrin OS is built so that a pack can be added without disturbing the Core underneath it. That is what makes a second industry possible. We will name one here when it exists, and not before.

Why Lumetrin is built this way.

  1. Generic software makes every business look the same

A CRM that knows nothing about your work forces you to describe that work in custom fields, and then to remember what those fields meant.

  2. Bespoke software is expensive to build and worse to maintain

It fits exactly once. Every change after that is a project, and the platform underneath it stops being anyone else’s problem to improve.

  3. A pack sits between the two

The Core keeps improving for everyone. The pack carries the depth one business model needs, and the two are maintained separately.

If your operation is not rental, Lumetrin OS may still fit on the Core alone, and it may not. That is a conversation rather than a claim, and we will tell you which one it is.

An industry pack is not a product. A pack is a layer inside Lumetrin OS. The products Lumetrin builds — Lumetrin OS, and the planned Luma Proposals — are listed under Products.

Put it against the way you actually work.

A demo runs through Lumetrin OS — the Lumetrin software you can run your business on today — using your own operation: the records you keep, the workflow you run, and where a connected system would change it. If you would rather send the details first, request access instead.
